Operation
Stroke length is converted to a pulse-count within the PLC, and immediately after this figure is reached, the motor is reversed and returns to the home position.
The process is then repeated.
Speed variation is achieved within the control panel by changing the frequency to the motor. An illuminated screen on the front of the control panel shows current speed and stroke.

- Gearhead - spur-type gearbox with precision ball bearings on rotating shafts
- Double-row angular contact ball bearings supporting the ballscrew assembly, complete with seals
- Posi-seal nose assembly, lubricated, sealed reservoir complete with felt wick
- All wetted parts 316 or 316L stainless steel
- Nose assembly, barrel and motor cover are all protected by O-ring seals
The Control Panel
- Variable frequency drive (inverter)
- Speed controlled either manually or by 4 to 20mA signal from DCS
- Programmable logic controller (PLC) with dedicated software
- Human Machine Interface (HMI) displays speed, stroke length and alarm signal
- Volt free contact for water shut-off
